It’s been a while since i have written a blog.  Things have been kind of crazy and I haven’t had much time to vent things out.  Here is the rant of the week:

First of all, Obama went to Asia.  Ok great, i’m all about opening relations and such with the Japanese, Chinese, South Koreans etc.  Afterall most of the crap that we buy is from China and Japan.  Oh not to mention that china owns a good chunk of our national debt.  Let’s not piss them off so they don’t reign in our debts.  The South Koreans are a stretegic partner, plus where else would we send guys for a year of fun away from America? (Rhetorical question)

But what i do have a problem with is our world leader, the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet, Kow-Towing to ANYBODY let alone a nation whose ass we kicked.  “Oh but it was protocol” blah blah.  Historically world leaders have regarded themselves as on par with eachother.  You remember when Commodore Perry rolled into Tokyo Bay and told them to open up trade or prepare to suck it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_Matthew_Perry)?  Oh the days of when America knew she was the greatest thing since sliced bread instead of running around appologizing for everything.  “Oh i’m sorry Poland, we should have just let Hitler keep your country!”  “Oh i’m sorry Kosovo, we shoulda just let slobodon keep killing the kurds.”

Basically this story is about a former UK Soldier who found a shotgun in his garden and turned it into the police.  As you may or may not know the british shitheads (parliment) outlawed guns as a massive hoplogamic reaction to a mass shooting in 1996.  They offered fair value for weapons and ammo turned in.  So this guy doing the right thing gets sentenced to FIVE YEARS IN PRISON for turning in a weapon.  In britain evidently the intent of a weapon owner is “irrelevent” even if their intent was to obey the law.  Basically the brits are insane and lost.  But watch out America, many many people out there want us to be just like the Brits.

I found a neat website.  Oathkeepers.org.  I dont know how i feel about it for sure, but it seems like its a good idea.  Check it out and read it.
